rice cooker or Instant Pot or even pot on the stove
Ingredients
2Cricebrown or white, uncooked, rinsed
2Cwateror however much your rice cooker specifies
½CChinese sausagediced
½-1lbleafy greenswashed & chopped into bite size pieces
1tbspcanola oilor your favorite cooking oil
Instructions
Dice the sausages & wash and rinse the rice.
Add the rice, sausages, and water to the rice cooker / Instant Pot.For rice cooker, cook according to the rice cooker. For Instant Pot, cook on high pressure for 3 minutes for white rice, 15 minutes for brown rice, natural release for 10 minutes.
While the rice is cooking, cook the greens on the stovetop with 1 tbsp oil, until wilted.
When the rice cooker / Instant Pot is done cooking, take a spatula and gently mix in the greens with the rice and the sausages. Close the lid and let it sit for 5 minutes. Scoop out & enjoy!
